Talk to your local authority youth service - a lot of areas have youth services attached to the local authority who are happy to provide assistance, advice and contacts. Just go on the local authority website and you should find a youth service link there somewhere!

Talk to local colleges and universities about youth work courses - This can be a good way of meeting people and getting training and youth work resources.
